In-Office Safety Measures
We are always ready to care for you.
Your health needs don’t stop – and neither does our commitment to you. Don’t avoid seeking care when you need it. If you have questions about your specific health care needs, reach out to your practice or provider. Our team is happy to help!
Your safety comes first.
Whether you need interventional procedures in our cardiac cath labs or in-person testing and lab work, we are taking every precaution to ensure your safety and well-being:
Following strict decontamination guidelines
Our facilities have always been thoroughly decontaminated using products certified to kill bacteria and viruses, and we’ve recently increased the frequency of decontamination.
Wearing face masks and additional PPE
Staff members are required to wear face masks at all times and may also wear gloves, an isolation gown and/or face shield in patient care areas. Patients are also asked to wear a mask and will be provided one if needed.
Screening for COVID-19 symptoms
Staff, patients and visitors are screened for symptoms of illness each time they enter our facilities.
Supporting social distancing guidelines
Inside our practices, we stagger appointments to limit the number of people in our offices at one time and enforce social distancing in waiting rooms.
Offering video visits through The Heart Center of NGMC
While we love seeing you in person, we realize that it’s not always possible to come into the office for a visit. To make the expert heart care you count on even more convenient, our cardiologists are now providing video visits. To request an appointment, visit nghs.com/video-visits
