    Dr. Hott is a graduate with high honors from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued her training with Emory where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in cardiology. After serving as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University in the heart failure and transplant program, Dr. Hott joined Northeast Georgia Heart Center and established the first heart failure program at Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) and Northside Hospital-Forsyth. These programs have been established to provide quality heart failure measures that reduce the number of heart failure readmissions.

    Through her leadership these heart failure programs are recognized for their exceptional quality of care and providing better outcomes for heart failure patients. Dr. Hott continues her interests in heart transplant and left ventricular assist device (LVAD). She currently serves as medical director of the heart failure programs at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Northside Hospital-Forsyth. Dr. Hott is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
